Today was the first day where we didn’t have anything academic scheduled in our day. We had an optional help session from 10-12 for Assignment D, where people stopped in and out for the help they needed. Thankfully Assignment D was more manageable than Assignment C.
Because we had nothing scheduled, some of us slept in and skipped breakfast. Some of us did laundry, practiced instruments, or played sports.

At 2:30 PM we walked to the theater to go watch Inside Out 2. It was a very relatable and good movie, proving to be a nice continuation of the first movie. Solid 8/10 movie, I think most of us were tearing up at some point during that movie.

After the movie, we were free to do whatever we wanted within the extended boundaries. Extended boundaries are life changing. All the more interesting food and activities are off campus. For dinner, a group of us went to have Malatang. Some others went to go have Raising Canes.

We stopped for a Target and boba run, and then afterwards, walked back to our dorms to shower up for the night. Some others stayed outside for some tennis and sports, while others stayed in.
Overall, this first Saturday was a very needed rest day to relax and socialize for everyone. It allowed us to take a step away from academics to focus on the mental and social wellbeing of ourselves and was our first experience of independence in a college setting. Thank god for weekends, and I’m so excited for another day of independence tomorrow on Sunday! Signing off, peace out✌️
